This committee is perfect for volunteers who love decorating homes. Our Preview Team snaps into action as soon as a family is ready to move into their new space. This team is responsible for cleaning each room, washing linens, staging furniture, and leaving welcome baskets for the new owners. When necessary, they will shop for any crucial missing items.

Our team of volunteer drivers is responsible for getting donated goods to and from our storage facility. Throughout the month, as opportunities arise, you may be asked to go collect a donation from somewhere on Staten Island and bring it back. On "move-in" days for our families, you'll help us get all of the furniture to their new space.

Our Prayer and Outreach Committee regularly holds in-person and virtual prayer events where we come together as a community to pray for the families we help, and the volunteers in the ministry. This team is also responsible for fostering healthy partnerships with local churches, businesses, and schools.

This team is perfect for anyone who has a background in finance, sales, or non-profit development. This committee plans fundraising events throughout the year, contacts potential donors, and writes grants so that our all-volunteer ministry can continue for years to come. The team mostly meets in the evenings after work, so we can accomodate your professional schedule!
