About Us

We are the local Staten Island chapter of Off The Streets, a nationwide charitable organization that provides hope and dignity to those experiencing homelessness by helping them transition to permanent housing.

We partner with local social service agencies who identify people experiencing homelessness but have a means to pay ongoing rent. Off The Streets Staten Island assists with a security deposit and basic furnishings. We offer essential items such as furniture, clothing, books, and toys at no cost, fostering a sense of dignity and support.

We perform these tasks using only volunteers and donations, and accept no government funding.
